The image appears to show a tweet published via the company’s Twitter account (@benandjerrys) that reads: “By 2045, the US will finally become a minority white country. Which flavor of Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream will you be eating to celebrate? Reuters did not find a notice of a deleted tweet when analyzing replies to tweets published by Ben & Jerry’s account between Sept. 16 and Sept. 18, 2020 (bit.ly/3Ocv0w9). Reuters found no evidence that such a tweet was posted by Ben & Jerry’s.

Reuters did not find any evidence that such a post was published as of July 12, 2023. No such post is viewable when examining the former president’s Truth Social account (here) and there are no credible media articles reporting that such a post was published (archive.is/gUBhK). Trump did indeed refer to the Florida governor as “Ron DeSanctimonious” in a Truth Social posted on July 11, a nickname that he has repeatedly used when referring to his challenger for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination (here).

A screenshot of a purported deleted tweet by conservative parents-rights group Moms for Liberty quoting a white supremacist slogan is fabricated. The organization has clarified in a statement on Twitter that it did not post the tweet. The tweet reads, "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children." According to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), the line originates with an infamous “14 Words” written by white supremacist David Lane, and is the “best-known slogan of the U.S. white supremacist movement” (here). A tweet quoting the racist “14 Words” slogan was not an authentic post made by conservative group Moms for Liberty.
